Northern customers should first pay attention to the fact that if the heat conducting medium used in the interlayer of the glass reactor and the condensing tube you use is water, you must pay attention to the low-temperature icing. In a static state, the water will expand after freezing, which will explode the glass reactor body or the condensing tube. Therefore, the water in the interlayer and condensing pipe should be drained after the experiment to avoid freezing at low temperature.

Another problem is that the temperature rise of the double-layer glass reactor is slow in winter, and the higher the capacity of the reactor, the slower the temperature rise. To solve this problem, Yaote made the following solutions:

2、 Appropriately increase the set temperature of the high-temperature oil bath (high-temperature circulator) to make the double-layer glass reactor accept higher temperature and shorten the heating time. When the reactivity of the double glass is close to the operating temperature, the temperature of the high-temperature oil bath (high-temperature circulator) is reduced to the actual operating temperature.

For example, the actual use temperature is 100 ℃, and the temperature of the high-temperature oil bath (high-temperature circulator) can be set to 120 ℃. When the temperature of the double-layer glass reactor rises to about 90 ℃, the temperature of the high-temperature oil bath (high-temperature circulator) can be set to the required: 100 ℃. It can effectively improve the heating rate and shorten the waiting time.

3、 The solution in the double-layer glass reactor should not be filled at one time, which will affect the heating rate. You can choose the batch feeding method. The initial feeding is about half of the capacity. After the temperature rises to close to the set temperature, add materials to the reactor. According to the above method, adding liquid in batches can also effectively provide the heating rate.
