1、 Installation site requirements

Glass reaction kettles should be installed in the operation room that meets the safety requirements. When multiple reaction kettles are equipped, they should be placed separately. Each operation room should have a channel and outlet to the outside. When there are explosive media, it is important to ensure good ventilation of the equipment

2、 Installation and sealing of reactor body and cover

The kettle body and kettle cover are in line contact with the circular arc surface with gaskets or conical surfaces, and they are pressed against each other by tightening the main nuts to achieve a good sealing effect. When tightening the nut, it must be diagonally symmetrical, and tighten it gradually for many times, with even force. The kettle cover is not allowed to tilt to one side, so as to achieve good sealing effect. When tightening the main nut, the specified tightening torque shall not be exceeded by 40~120n M range to prevent the sealing surface from being crushed or overloaded. Take special care of the sealing surface. Wipe the upper and lower sealing surfaces with soft paper or cloth before each installation, and pay special attention not to touch the sealing surface of the kettle body and kettle cover. If it is operated reasonably, it can be used more than 10000 times. After the sealing surface is damaged, it needs to be reworked and repaired to achieve good sealing performance. When disassembling the kettle cover, the kettle cover should be slowly lifted up and down to prevent the sealing surface between the kettle body and the kettle cover from colliding with each other. If gaskets (tetrafluoro, aluminum gasket, gasket, asbestos gasket, etc.) are used for sealing, good sealing effect can be achieved by tightening the main nut.

3、 Installation of valves, pressure gauges and safety valves

The sealing effect is achieved by tightening the positive and negative nuts. The circular arc sealing surfaces at the two ends of the connection shall not rotate relative to each other. All screw connections must be coated with lubricant or oil mixed graphite during assembly to avoid seizure.

4、 Make pressure maintaining inspection

After the equipment is installed, maintain the pressure in vacuum for 30 minutes, and check whether there is any major leakage. If there is any leakage, please use soap foam to find the leakage point of the pipeline and nozzle, find out the leakage point, ventilate and tighten it, and then conduct the pressure maintaining test again, and ensure that the vacuum degree is normal before starting to work normally

5、 About the clever trick of kettle body cleaning

After the reaction, first cool down (in the case of high-temperature experiment), and then release the gas in the kettle to the outside through the pipeline, so that the pressure in the kettle is reduced to normal pressure. It is strictly forbidden to disassemble under pressure! Then loosen and remove the main bolts and nuts symmetrically, and then carefully remove the kettle cover (or raise the kettle cover) and place it on the support. During the removal of the cover, special attention should be paid to protecting the sealing surface. Then use cleaning fluid (pay attention to avoid corrosion to the main material when using cleaning fluid) to remove the residue of the kettle body and kettle cover. It should be cleaned frequently and kept clean. It is not allowed to clean with hard substances or objects with rough surface.
